Summary
“So what are we missin’ from the list?” Lighter asked, arms resting on the handle of the shopping cart, gazing over the products inside all to bake a cake with Wise, during the special occasion of Lighter’s birthday. They had bigger plans but due to a few commissions on both on their ends it had to be canceled, but a wise solution came along the way, Wise told Lighter to just have cake together at his place.
In which they just shop for a cake, bake a cake, eat a cake and are cute together.

Summary
As Wise watches Lighter fearlessly walk into a hollow alone, face down dozens and dozens of opponents without an ounce of fear, without a care for his safety, and then watches him come out victoriously in the end, a small spark forms in Wise’s chest. It grows as he hears Lighter talk about his past, sharing the tragedies he faced, a past littered in thorns that scarred both his body and his heart.
As Wise watches from Eous’s eyes the way the light from the setting sun settles over Lighter’s face, softening his features, the spark grows. The way the wind rustles his hair, the way Lighter turns after his tale to give Wise a tired smile tinged with sadness and regret, so fragile, like splintered glass ready to break that spark ignites into a tiny flame.
The flame is the start of a tender emotion, a gentle affection.
From that day on that little flame slowly grows bigger, changing color, changing form.
Changing into something that consumes his heart.
Changing into love.

“Are you the problematic dog I'm supposed to be taking care of?”
The voice causes Lighter to stop dead in his tracks, stunned.
He has had his fair share of Operators’ myriad of voices. Yet, none of them can rival the current pleasantness in his ear that fills him with the itch to hear more.
Before he can get a word in, his earpiece crackles once more.
“Sorry, that must have been a rude thing to say as a first greeting. I’m Phaethon, and I’ll be your Operator starting from today. Pleasure to meet you, Agent Lorenz.”
[Or: Special Agent!Lighter is assigned to a new Operator. It’s hard to not be intrigued by the man when Lighter constantly has the calm and deceptively gentle voice in his ears. Too bad it’s easier to crack open a safe than prying any semblance of personal details from the ever-elusive Phaethon.]

Summary
“Oooooh you think he didn't dodge it because he wants Mr Wolfy here to feel bad and fawn over him?” Burnice exclaims, voice pitching high and crystal clear over Vivian's hushed whispers that turn into frantic shhhhs as the younger Mockingbird tries to slap a palm over her new biker friend’s unruly mouth.
“Is that so,” says Lycaon flatly, and presses the ice pack over Hugo's face with more force than is probably necessary.
“Now, now, Vivian,” says Hugo, wincing away from Lycaon's aggressive nursing. “Didn't we make a deal about secrets. You don't tell Lycaon my cunning plan to seduce him again, and I don't tell your darling Proxy about that recent Phaethon cosplay photo collection you just purchased on Inter-Knot.”
“What photos now?” says Lighter as Vivian’s face bursts into flames amidst adamant squeaks of denial.
Silly, comedy one-shots of various agents reacting to Lighter/Wise during Wise’s Inter-Knot commissions and me making fun of gameplay mechanics (excerpt from Chapter 9). THIS IS AN ESTABLISHED LIGHTER/WISE SERIES. Many chapters will contain some amount of LighterWise fluff =)

Summary
When he thinks about Lighter, all that comes to mind is the hopelessness of his crush. If he let himself be a little more honest, Wise knew it was a bad idea to keep working with Lighter while he held feelings for the man. That he should have stopped it sooner before he got in too deep, but every time he thinks about finally moving on, Lighter pulls him back in so easily.
Wise knew what he was getting into, knowing he might get hurt in the long run the further they went. Lighter probably didn’t think of him as anything more than a friend and an idol he was taking care of, or maybe just a friendly work relationship at best.
The man was being nice, nothing more.

“Mind if I touch you?” Lighter murmurs, cheek brushing against Wise’s hair. “Just on the chin.”
Wise can’t help from smiling. Work is work so he’s used to a lot of inconveniences—people doing as they like with him, people being rude, people assuming things without his permission—but Lighter’s proving to be a breath of fresh air in such a short amount of time.
He’s not a professional model, but he’s standing out as one of the best coworkers Wise has had so far.
“I like your initiative,” he murmurs, head tilting away from the camera. “Go on, touch me.”
Wise is used to the hardships of modeling, but that doesn't mean he doesn't dislike it when his model partners bail on him.
Enter Lighter Lorenz.
