Summary
So, good news. The city she and her current-besties were driving to had a casino. Bad news, casinos did not have drive-throughs. Good news, nobody could stop them from just driving into the casino anyways.
The damages were worth millions. Their winnings were slim. And they forgot to exchange chips before leaving the lobby. They had eventually just cut their losses and scampered back to the car before driving out of the west wall and into the seedy alleyway behind the building. Every casino came with one.
Where else would people get thrown out into a rain puddle after losing everything and betting more than they had via collateral they couldn’t uphold? Where else would people monologue about revenge while at their lowest?
Where else would someone get jumped by a teleporting suicide bomber?
Or: Frankenstein's monster, a poltergeist, and a werewolf decide to go on a roadtrip. They quickly get lost and ruin the days of everyone around them. -

Summary
If there was one thing most people could agree on, it's that CEOs were evil. And CEO's of major corporations? They're the closest thing the world's ever going to get to absolute evil. Even the most humane of them have a list of deceased in their names that exceed most war memorials, and the most depraved of them lost track after they entered the tens of millions. If there's one thing you can rely on a corporation head to be, it's cunning, ruthless, and depraved beyond belief.
Ichiban Kasuga was (reportedly) none of these things. Ichiban Kasuga, from what the few people that have been able to prove their interactions with him have to say, have all claimed that he's a mildly dimwitted man prone to acts of obscene charity, that is always willing to drop whatever he's doing to help a complete stranger out.
Not even the most gullible person on the planet would believe such an obvious fantasy.

Summary
Nobody is exactly sure where this new group of heroes came from. As far as the public was concerned, they had just appeared one day out of thin air. Most people immediately wrote them off. After all, a group of wannabe pros getting cheap hero licenses and trying to make it big isn't exactly an uncommon slight in the industry. They would probably crash and burn by the end of the week, most people said with a scoff.
By the end of the week they already have made the national news four times now. Once for managing to build an entire agency within a week, once for taking down an A-Class pro known for trading blows with All Might, once for making the world record for lowest recorded fine for illegal quirk usage, and once for breaking the world record for youngest licensed pro hero to make the top 25 charts. Most people now insist that they always knew they were up and coming stars and they were rooting for them since the beginning.
Most people are already talking about how they're already well on their way to replacing All Might as the new pillar of peace. Too bad nobody told any of them that they were supposed to be role models.

Summary
"I do not need your help, and I most certainly do not need your pity." Finished fixing her reel, Angela cast it out yet again into the ocean, watching as it flew off into the horizon, barely visible against the golden backdrop of the setting sun. "And even if I wanted to indulge you, I cannot. Tom Nook gave this task to me and me alone. If I were to let you assist he might not give the full reward."
"Figures Tom had to bribe you to do something. What the heck could Tom have even offered you to get you to come all the way out here?" Reneigh asked her, absentmindedly watching her fishing rod's bobber bouncing in the golden waves.
"Her offered me a cup of tea. If I do a sufficient job, I may even get two."
"I'll give you fifty freaking cups of tea if you give me the fishing rod and let me at least show you how to use it. If you let me teach you how to use bait, you may even get a hundred." She doubted a thousand cups of whatever tea Reneigh could get her hooves on could compare to a single cup of Da Hong Pao, let alone a mere hundred.
"What tea do you drink?"
"Uh, iced tea?" And with that, Angela immediately threw away the thought of ever accepting a cup of tea from Reneigh.
