“Robby doesn’t even have a team,” Whitaker complained, and the lack of honorific was so obvious in hindsight, though right then Dana had hardly questioned when the resident had gotten so comfortable with the attending. “He just roots for whoever is playing against Philly.”
“City loyalty,” Robby emphasized again, causing the younger man to roll his eyes once more and huff out an exasperated sigh.
“Sorry, kid,” Dana offered to Whitaker. “I’m with Robby on this one. Fuck Philly.”

Summary
Dean's the one who keeps things moving. The one who's never gets sick, the one who's nearly invincible. The one who never lets anyone take care of him- not really. But after a rough hunt, something hits him hard, and Sam is forced to watch his brother spiral into feverish, delirious mess right in front of him.
Stuck in a hotel room, armed with nothing but wet cloths, half a bottle of Tylenol, and the memory of Everytime Dean once looked out for him, Sam does everything he can to keep Dean from slipping top far. And Dean? He hates feeling week. He hates needing help. But somewhere between the shivering and the apologies, he might finally admit he's not okay.
Just this once Sam is the strong one and Dean doesn't know that to do with that.

“You sound like shit,” Dean said, crossing his arms. “You sick?”
“I’m fine,” Sam said, standing up and brushing past Dean towards the kitchen. “You want coffee?” he asked, trying valiantly to change the conversation. “I made extra.”
“Now I know you’re sick, because that was the lamest excuse for a subject change I’ve heard from you in a while,” Dean said, raising an unimpressed eyebrow at him.
“I’m trying to offer you coffee,” Sam emphasized, avoiding Dean’s gaze as he poured him a cup.
“You’re trying to distract me,” Dean corrected, walking to Sam’s side again and eyeing him warily.
“I’m serious, Sam. You sick? Hurting?”

Or, Sam wakes up with a fever at a rundown motel in the middle of nowhere, and Dean takes it upon himself to nurse his brother back to health.
