Summary
During a mandated eighth year, Draco Malfoy returns to Hogwarts on probation, one failed class away from Azkaban. Forced by the Ministry to pass Muggle Studies with an Outstanding, he reluctantly asks Hermione Granger for help—and she agrees on one strict condition: he is not allowed to fall in love with her. As their tutoring sessions turn into something deeper, Draco begins to notice how fiercely Hermione’s friends protect her, and how carefully she avoids talking about the future.
