    After his dream is finally crushed, Izuku isn’t quite sure there’s anything left for him to live for, but...he can’t exactly kill himself either, not without hurting the people he cares the most about. So, when he realizes that the quirkless can’t technically be vigilantes, it seems like the best of both worlds. He’ll be able to save people even without being a hero and, if he happens to die while he’s at it...well, like Kacchan said, maybe he’d be born with a quirk in the next life.

    Izuku decides to take Kacchan's advice, he jumps off the roof of a high rise, and he succeeds. He dies, for approximately four minutes, the hero Hawks will attest to that, before he burst into flames, so he's told. Phoenix's are reborn from the ashes. Izuku is no different. His old life is burned away, and his new life emerges from the ashes, this time he's got zero fucks to give and the winged hero as a parent. Watch out, he's gonna set the world ablaze, and laugh as it all burns down around him (before going home to have his wings groomed because according to his dad he is not tracking ash into the apartment, no sir, not on his watch)

    Izuku slowly drifts towards the back edge of the building, as if drawn by some invisible force. He gazes down into the abandoned alley below, full of trash cans and rats most likely. Bakugou's words replay in his head, over and over again.

     

    Take a swan dive off the roof.

     

    For the first time in his life, Izuku doesn't overthink his decision.

    Instead, he pivots on his heel, inching them closer to the edge. With outstretched arms, Izuku tilts his body backward.

    He falls.

     

    TLDR - Izuku decided to take Bakugou’s advice and attempts to kill himself, but the next day he wakes up unharmed and very confused.
