Summary
Ash arrives at home later than usual, his shoulders slumped and exhaustion etched deep into his face. He enters the room and immediately shuts down, refusing to answer Eiji’s questions or even look in his direction.
Eiji can sense that something’s amiss, that Ash is more closed off than usual. He tries to coax Ash into talking, but Ash remains stubbornly silent, his walls firmly up.
Eiji knows he has to find a way to break through those walls, to get Ash to open up and let him in.
