Summary
Jake feels his heart leap into his throat when Neytiri instantly draws her knife. The telltale scraping noise does something to Spider; he flinches hard, and Neytiri is already so on the edge that the movement is enough to send her over it. She jumps towards Spider, whose eyes look so glassy, Jake’s unsure if he could tell up from down right now.
Jake can barely get a word out before Neytiri is at Spider’s back, holding a knife to his throat.

Kiri doesn't seem interested in telling anyone anything. She's abandoned the rocks to poke at the feathers instead, plucking one from the pile and twisting it between her fingers. Her eyes widen as her nail catches on the slender shaft, bending under her touch like a spine.
