Summary
Stagnation Syndrome: a progressive disease that occurs in uma musume. Symptoms include mood swings, depressive tendencies, headaches, rashes on the neck and legs, stomach aches, and in later stages, loss of circulation in legs. It is well documented in its causes and cures, but not in the mechanisms. While it can be fatal if left untreated, no Uma has perished from Stagnation in the past half a century. The early stages are easily reversible, and there are long running superstitions all over the world about the terrible misfortune that will befall a city inhospitable enough to let an Uma perish from stagnation.
Agnes Lucille, when she was a human man, studied it in order to be a better trainer. But after Tachyon’s experiment— Horse Replacement Therapy, she called it— she realizes the symptoms are much different when you’re the one experiencing them.

As far as Arven's concerned, there's nothing better he can do for his friends than cooking for them. Nemona gets so caught up in excitement for battling that she forgets to eat, Penny's culinary expertise is limited to food for her veevees and instant ramen, and the girl who brought them all together is from Galar. Cooking's what he's good at, and it's something he can do to help, and really, that's the least he can do for them.
At least, that's what he thinks before a second Treasure Hunt alongside his best friends in the world goes very, very wrong.
