Summary
Hiccup and his dad didn't fix their relationship post-first movie. Instead, they regularly get into screaming matches around Berk. Hiccup's final straw is brutally atomised when Stoick threatens to ground him and Toothless indefinitely in order to teach Hiccup how to be a 'proper chief and viking'.
Hiccup, whose finally found himself a home in the sky, disrespectfully disagrees and yeets himself out of the berkian's lives.
So I kinda just gave away the whole plot but whatever you can't have everything in life. Please read this is my second fandom post lets goooooooooo. (Hope it's better than the first)

Summary
After the events of the first movie, everyone needs help with getting used to their new lifestyle on Berk. One needs more help than some. Hiccup doesn't seem to realize that he's working too hard helping everyone with their dragons while he should be taking it easy to recover from his lost leg.
Hiccup needs to take care of himself! Being the stubborn viking that he is, it's up to Toothless to find help for Hiccup, whether he wants it or not.

Hiccup looked at her for a while- taking calming breaths in and out as he tried to articulate the words. “I uhm- just- I don’t-… I look ugly. Without- without clothes… on…” His voice trailed off into a mutter the further into the sentence he got. By the Gods this was humiliating.
He loathed the look of sheer sadness that plagued her features at his words.
“Babe… I promise you that you don’t,” Astrid hummed, her hand rising to gingerly rest on his back.
“No- No it’s- it’s bad. It’s really bad.”

Summary
What if Hiccup had told Stoick about the dragon's nest before fighting the monstrous nightmare?
(I read one similar, loved it, couldn't find it again - think it's been deleted - so am writing my own version of events).
OR
It's an odd sight to see Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the Third marching down the stairs before dawn, devoid of his usual character, but Stoick is about to find out about a lot more than the few sentences his runt of a son has decided to bestow upon him, over the fire crackle in the wee morning of his dragon killing honour.
