Frank Iero is a piece of shit, low life criminal - self proclaimed. The last time he went to church was Catholic school, and the only reason he found himself in the confessional booth of Sacred Heart that rainy night was a deal gone sour that forced him to find a place to hide and quick.

Summary
Gerard recently moved to California, a place where he doesn't belong, to support his wife's career. He becomes the primary caregiver for their four-year-old daughter, which sometimes feels like a natural progression after his wife spent years putting her own life on hold for Gerard and his career.
But that sense of normalcy begins to unravel when he meets Frank, his daughter's twenty-two-year-old pre-K teacher. Covered in childish tattoos, Frank clashes with Gerard in more ways than one—until he opens the door to his world, and Gerard falls immediately for him.
