Summary
Wei Wuxian is confused. He just wanted a lift to Golden Carp Tower so he had time to complete his gift for little Jin Ling… How did it all go so very sideways? Gossip in the cultivation world truly is its own beast to reckon with.
Based primarily on the novel canon.

Summary
It seemed like a good idea to Zhao Yunlan at the time. Take a job as a life drawing model, observe the students, try to figure out if one of them murdered the previous art professor.
Get paid to sit on a chair, basically. Piece of cake, right?

Summary
Scarf Guy takes a deep breath. "Call him," he says ominously, and Glasses looks up at a whiteboard on the wall, covered in photos and printouts.
"He's in class for another hour."
"Who?"
They all turn towards him, looking various shades of stricken.
"Oh no," Dungarees whispers. "This is bad."

Summary
“Just in case you do belong to someone who misses you. But maybe you’re just magically a really clean stray cat so you can stay with me and be all mine, mine, mine,” Zhao Yunlan explained, as if the cat could understand him. He just felt he had to say something, like he didn’t want the cat to misunderstand and think Zhao Yunlan didn’t want him. Which was ridiculous, because this was a cat. How could a cat misunderstand anything?
The ability to shapeshift into a cat didn’t often come into play in Shen Wei’s role as Heipaoshi protecting everyday citizens against powered Dixingren. However, discovering that the new S.I.D. chief was gaining the trust of Dixingren allies against all odds, Shen Wei decides to use this ability to indulge his curiosity with a harmless bit of reconnaissance. Unexpectedly, this spur of the moment decision leads to him stalking a surprisingly familiar man, one he’d never thought he’d see again. Irresistibly drawn to this beloved figure, Shen Wei finds himself on light paws and in dark fur day after day, watching unseen from within the shadows...Or so he thinks.

Summary
“Wow,” says Wei Ying, and his mouth tastes funny and the air tastes funny but that isn’t really relevant right now. “You are incredibly beautiful. I mean. Just – so stunning. Impossibly gorgeous. Has anyone told you that? Where are you from? Wanna get a drink? With you, I’d spring for Saurian brandy.”
“Talk less,” says the gorgeous beauty above him, and shoves a hypospray into his arm.
