Chuuya expects that answer but it doesn't help him convince Kunikida that going into that mall is very likely a very dumb idea. Kunikida tears his arm out of Chuuya's grip and Chuuya, for a split second thinks of using his ability on the other but refrains as he watches Kunikida stomp towards the mall entrance.Kunikida and Chuuya investigate an explosion that interrupts their business meeting, when they end up stuck in a two hour timeloop. Figuring out how to break out of it proves harder than anticipated.

Kunikida is a firm believer in the right way to do things.
The world isn’t black and white, but it is easier to view certain things that way. The things he has meticulously written down in his notebook are the correct way of things. The easier way of things. It was better to abide by his notebook, and nowhere in his notebook did it say how to deal with a Mafia executive arriving at his work establishment requesting an audience with him personally.

'They were greeted politely at the doors, and led through a huge, carved entryway, intricate pillars stretching from the shiny marble floor to the high, mural ceiling. It was a beautiful architectural feat, but the effect was wasted on Erwin’s small group, who observed the space with contempt, or else in Hange’s case, stared only at the floor where their reflections shimmered in the polished surface.
Sweet music played through a closed set of double doors up ahead, carrying with it the hum of many voices interspersed now and then with a raucous laugh, or the clink of cutlery on expensive ceramic dishes. Two men, dressed in matching uniform, bowed politely and pulled the doors open, and the sound from within spilled into the entryway, echoing into the vast space.
The ballroom was beautiful.'
