Summary
“What is the music?” Steve asks.
“That? Oh, just the warp and weft of Creation as it births itself, moment by moment,” the pale man says, cocks his head at Steve and smiles a crooked little half-smile, and—
“Teach me,” Steve says, and the man grins. An urban historical fantasy AU in which Steve Rogers' Da is an immortal sorcerer from another world. This changes some things some things a Hell of a lot, and some things not at all.
Or: sorcery, sex, soldiering, spy craft and shapeshifting.

Summary
His name is Steven Grant Rogers. His mother and father were Sarah and Ulfadhir. He is a sorcerer and a soldier and a captain in the U.S. Army, a Howling Commando. There is a war on, and—
Sometimes he holds himself together long enough that he remembers putting the Valkyrie down in the water.
He can hear the moan of metal shifting under the changing pressure of ice and gravity, water pressure, and beyond that he hears the aching slow groan and crack of the ice shifting, grinding. Changing shape as slow and ponderous as a geological age coming on.
As it turns out—as Stevie has gotta learn the hard way—death is not the end when your blood and bones are more’n half sorcery by weight. There is a long winter ahead.

Summary
“He's called Loki. He's not from around here,” Fury says, and it’s not until Steve gets back to the apartment and finds the briefing package someone’s left on the kitchen counter—
Loki of Asgard. There’s a rough profile based on what they know so far: a sorcerer, a trickster, alien. Immortal. And there are a couple photos ripped from security footage, Loki standing over the bodies of SHIELD personnel with some kinda energy weapon in his hand. Tall, pale, dark hair slicked back. Slender, haughty features, like a hawk. Familiar Goddamn features.
He’s Ulfadhir. He’s Ulfadhir, he’s Steve’s fucking father.
Steve Rogers—iceborn, wolfkin, sorcerer and spy and part-time Captain America—has made it out of the ice, made it home. And okay, no one he loves is alive and intact to tell of it, and there’s a paramilitary spy agency watching his every move, and everything is a nightmarish shitshow but that’s just business as usual, really, and he’s got a handle on it and then—
And then his father steals the Tesseract and turns a classified SHIELD installation into a sink hole. And then the shit hits the fan.

Summary
It’s the gunman, the shooter from Steve’s apartment, striding into the open. Black leather and Kevlar and the muzzle across his jaw and that fucking metal arm. And his song is broken, a nightmare—like his soul has been carved out, like they crammed the vessel of his body full of rusty razor blades and landmines, and every time he moves he’s cutting himself deeper.
Steve Rogers is—look, he’s fine. He’s busy: neck-deep in spies, pulling the long con where he pretends to be Captain America, SHIELD agent, and not a pack of wolves and six kinds of trauma piled up inside a trench coat. Because the end of the world is coming and he needs allies; this tiny blue-green planet needs a shield, only—
Only it turns out he’s not the only one playing the long game inside SHIELD. Hydra are not as dead as the history books would have you believe.
And neither is Bucky Barnes.
A wolf age, a wind age. Shields are sundered.

Summary
“Every time I close my eyes, I’m remembering. Faces, voices. People I’ve killed.” Bucky’s voice comes muffled, meat and bone and thermal fabric between the words and Steve’s ears. And the words still land like blows. “I’m a Goddamn plague upon the Earth, Steve. I can’t hurt you again.”
“You won’t. And Hydra won’t ever get near you again.” Steve says it like a spell, like a geas, like he’s gonna bend the fabric of the universe to his will. It’s a vow, binding as anything ever said in front of a priest. “I will raze the Goddamn Earth until Hydra ain’t so much as a Goddamn smear.”
Bucky breathes out, slow and controlled. “I want to believe that.”
Steve leans in and presses chapped lips to the centre of Bucky’s brow. “Believe me.”
***Nine months on the tundra. Nine months, in a world turning, churning, transformed. Nine months with the wolves.
Steve and Bucky, in Greenland. The Winter Soldier was never permitted to sleep, but maybe Bucky Barnes can rest, here, at the edge of the world. Steve Rogers cannot conjure healing magic, but he can shift his shape, and that might be the next best thing.
Arc Five in the Magic Pixie Dream Steve ‘verse.
