Summary
"Who were you talking to?” Abolish asks, a curious lilt to his voice.
Frankly, Scott thinks Abolish probably knows already. He does that sometimes, asking trick questions and all that. “Oh, just Aeolus,” he replies with a shrug.
“Right. He talks to you,” he states, then continues when Scott nods without a word, “and y’all were talking about me.”
Scott snorts softly, skipping down the stairs two at a time until he’s right in front of Abolish. “Yeahhh, he wanted me to seduce you, can you believe that?”

Summary
Abolish scoffs. “Right, sure, is that why you didn’t fight back?”
“I— What?” Scott asks, taken aback, the question a genuine shock. This isn’t— what’s going on? “You were right there, just watching like everyone else, you know I fought back,” he insists.
“If you call that pitiful display fighting back, you’re weaker than I thought.”
—
Or, Scott dies in the arena. Abolish is the one to find him.

Summary
“You just have to be yourself,” Abolish replies with a shrug, like it’s easy; Scott highly doubts it is for either of them.
“What if people don’t like it when I am… myself?”
When Abolish scoffs, Scott glances back over at him. Yellow eyes are already watching him with fierce intensity. “Then those people don’t matter,” he says firmly, shifting around so he’s facing him in full, and Scott’s breath catches in his throat when he realises how close they are. “Anyone who doesn’t like you the way you are is not worth your time.”

Summary
Abolish inhales sharply through his nose. “Scott, I don’t know how you managed to, but you're simply the most infuriating person I’ve ever met.” And yet, once he’s finished cleaning up and dressing the wound, he still slips his arms below Scott’s back and knees, lifting him up. It does hurt, but not enough to deter Scott from enjoying this.
The pain is definitely worth being carried around by a hot man.
"Hm. I don’t know,” Scott says innocently, “all I hear is that I make your heart beat quite fast, handsome.” And Abolish’s heart is beating louder than it should, to Scott’s satisfaction.

Summary
“I want to be the only one who has you,” Abolish replies firmly, bordering on fervent, and Scott’s lips part as he inhales in surprise, his nails digging crescents into his skin.
Scott tries to look away, but every time he does his eyes are drawn right back to Abolish’s unyielding gaze, the hot wind gently tussling his curls. He blows out a slow breath, and Abolish can feel how Scott relaxes, “I don’t think you have to worry there, handsome; if I have you, you have me.”
By the gods, just those few words are enough to make the fire in his veins heat up.
Abolish wants to kiss him again, and again, and again.
-
Or, against all odds, Scott beats Abolish in the arena. Abolish is incredibly normal about this.
