Summary
Lennon Wilde is a vet tech in Atlanta when the world falls apart. Days later, she's in the woods with a dog and a knife, and Daryl Dixon is the one who finds her.
Daryl Dixon doesn't waste words. Doesn't explain himself. Doesn't do people. But survival throws them together, and some walls come down brick by brick, whether you meant to drop them or not.
The dead are walking. The living are dying. And somewhere between the quarry and the highway and every desperate mile after, staying alive starts looking different than either of them expected.
