Making new friends wasn’t a wonder medicine for night terrors. It wasn’t anything new but tonight the nightmares seemed worse. Bucky felt as if his mind were splitting apart trying desperately to fight off the memories seeping into his dreams. He was twisting and turning, his legs becoming all tangled up in the thin blanket. His heartbeat quickened and his breath hitched. Bucky wanted to squeeze his eyes and shut out the memory but he had no control over his body, he could only watch and remember.
