Part of "On the Move". In "Say Something" Lucy told Tim what she'd shared with the girls at girls' night.
This is that story. Can be read as a stand-alone.Lucy, Angela and Nyla are hanging out at the bar about two weeks before Lucy is set to move in with Tim, and they end up talking about their sex lives... well, mostly Tim and Lucy's sex life. Includes some flashbacks and a smutty trip down memory lane.

Lucy made a face. That wasn’t an image she needed in her head. “Anyway, we live in LA. It makes sense to save water.”“Uh-huh, sure. That’s why you do it,” Angela smirked. “But I can relate, because right now the only alone time we get is in the shower. There’s usually at least one kid in bed with us.” She gave a wistful sigh. “You’re so short, though. How does hat work?”
“Core strength, and then it’s mostly about the right angle. And I mean… he does work out. Also, by now we’ve got a lot of practice.”
Nyla snorted into her drink. “I bet.”

“Yeah.” She shrugged, muttering something about needing more boxes before adding, “Girl talk, you know.”

Lucy stared at her laptop, the letters and numbers blurring in front of her eyes. It was early. Too early even for Tim; he was still fast asleep beside her, arm flung over his face as he snored lightly, a fact that he always denied whenever she teased him about it.
She smiled and rested her hand on his chest for a moment, feeling for his heartbeat: thud-thud-thud.
He didn’t stir, just frowned, the snoring stopping for a moment before his features smoothed out again. This, him next to her in this bed, was a last.
There had been a lot of those in the last few days, minor things, really: Celina and her having dinner together at the kitchen island for the final time, just the two of them; taking a last bath in the tub with the adhesive baby Yodas that she’d bought on a whim a while ago because they reminded her of Jackson; making coffee in the morning before leaving for work.
