Summary
Buck is not ready to start at the 118, but Mya said it was good for him to get back out there and get back to a normal life after everything, but he just isn’t ready for today. His shift starts in thirty minutes and he’s sitting in the parking lot debating on whether he should just drive away and crawl back in bed or go inside. A phone call breaks through the car’s speaker and he answers without looking at the caller ID. “Hello?”
“You're stalling, aren’t you? Just go inside Evan” Mya’s voice comes through his speaker and he smacks his head on the top of the steering wheel.
“I should’ve known you would be calling, I don’t know if I can do this M and please don’t call me Evan”
Or.... Buck starts his first day as a firefighter and is trying not to panic.
