Summary

These four souls have been chosen, granted power from beyond their worlds. And now, they must learn to live with one another as they strive to save this world under a shattered moon. Along the way, they'll be joined by: a shy reaper who has been thrust well out of her comfort zone; an heiress who has been sheltered from the world; a girl fleeing her partner and her cause; a fiery blonde who just wants to see her sister blossom; a boy who just wants to be a hero; a champion who just wants a friend; a girl looking for a purpose beyond her strength; and a boy who wants to protect his last remaining family.
Together, they are Teams BREK, RWBY, and JNPR.
Together, they will face a great destiny.
But first... They have to break through.

Their actions have begun to ripple outwards.
Their actions will determine their destiny.

With new friends, new enemies, and new complications making themselves known, it all comes down to this.

The Vision Cabal succeeded. They averted disaster, and the Fall of Beacon is nothing but alternate history. Now, they can enjoy their first year Training Camp out in the woods. But little do they know that shadows still lurk, and that the flames of hatred continue to burn, even out of sight. By interfering with Salem’s plot, BREK, RWBY, and JNPR have invited upon themselves a reckoning.
Meanwhile, across the continent, a new team of hopeful warriors is assembling. As she adjusts to the desert heat, Jasmine must learn to work with a Faunus who hates her guts, a Mistrali noble, and a girl who seems to have no idea what she’s even doing. All the while, Vixio must try to put together a new team so that he can return to the ones he loves.
As the sun sets, the ashes will return.
As the sun sets, their world will soon burn.

The Beacon first years are slowly pulling themselves to their feet again after the attack on their training camp. Healing has not been easy, but they’ve had each other to pull through. When one of Vixio’s new friends arrives with news of an impending attack on The Oasis, though, Team BREAK and Team RWBY will find themselves drawn to the deserts of Vacuo in an attempt to avert disaster once more. But with Emily’s Semblance having deserted her, and with lingering resentment towards their newest Keybearer still hanging over them all, will they be able to prevent another tragedy?
Within the desert, they will confront their pain.
Within the desert, there may be much to gain.

Their ranks have swelled with the new year thanks to the additions of Team ANVL and Team AMST, as well as the newly minted Team SOLR and Team OPAL. However, tensions begin to flare, especially between Vixio and the others, as he begins to feel the effects of being the only non-Keybearer among his team. Meanwhile, as Sakura begins to grow and find her place among AMST, Jasmine cannot help but begin to worry about her future and what she may become. Fears that may become all too real as the echoes of Team JEMS’s holiday in Atlas come back to haunt them all…
As they reach the city in the sky, barriers await.
