Summary
“S’rry for the impromptu weightlifting session, Valentine,” Deacon says, slurs, hates the way his mouth doesn’t seem to be cooperating. His face hasn’t been much more than numb since it got slammed into concrete by a particularly pissed off raider a couple of hours back. “Not saying I hate what it’ll do to your shoulders though. I like my robodetectives broad. Rrrrr.”
Prompt: how 'bout Nick/Deacon with 11: “Don’t you dare throw that snowba-, goddammit!”

Except... Nick Valentine is the one who doesn't want him to leave...
And Jackie isn't sure how to cope with that.

But it’s not like Hancock’s got a crush.
“Yeah, of course you can. You look like you’ve been on ‘tats.” MacCready replies half a second later than he should, grin wide and eyes a little brighter, and Hancock’s pulse flutters. “Like what you see, huh?”
Alright, so he has a little crush.
— or.
MacCready gets hurt and Hancock's there to make sure his best friend's alright.

Summary
He didn’t remember the name of the street he grew up on as a young boy, or the name of his elderly calico cat that would sit on his chest and purr after he would lay back on his coach after a long day of going door to door. Hell, he forgot his own name maybe a hundred and fifty years ago.
He wasn’t too horrified when he realized he had forgotten all these things, he was never good at remembering names before the war and becoming a Ghoul didn’t help in the slightest when all his memories started to blur together. Becoming smeared like a sloppy watercolor painting, made worse by time as the colors started to fade.
He did still have a knack for remembering faces, though.
