A long time ago, the 79th floor was a battleground, and it was one of the few Floor wars where the native inhabitants of the Tower had overthrown the Jahad-instituted Yeon Ruler of the Floor.
They created a disease that exploited the very flame the Yeons were so proud of, through the essence of their destruction and healing. They turned the vitality that burned through disease and injury into decay. And they called it the pyrophyesis disease—a twist of irony, “the process of growing flame”.
Despite the family’s attempts to send more troops, anyone with Yeon blood eventually succumbed to the disease, and ultimately, they had to suffer a humiliating defeat. A Tu Perie Family Ranker had taken over afterwards, but every resident is still a carrier of the virus today, a permanent barrier against all of the Yeon Family, and a warning that the residents will not bow down to a dictator.
