Somehow that one event leads to even more secrets that he can't help but to keep. With so many secrets surrounding him, is it even possible for him to be a hero? He doesn't know, but he is going to do everything he can to help people, even if it is a little less than legal and even if his secrets can ruin everything.

Todoroki is in his office again, closing the door behind him and ruining the taste of Aizawa’s jelly pouch, as well as usurping his time that he’d been planning to spend grading.
"If he's Midoriya, then how do you explain the sudden personality change?" Shoto asks, like there hadn’t been a whole string of things recently that could be the cause. As if their whole class hadn’t changed in the last week and a half.
"He just went through a villain attack," Aizawa says.
"We all did."
"You've been acting differently, too."
"How?"
"Coming to my office all the time, for one—"
"I haven’t been—"
"Talking about invisible intruders and suspecting your classmates—"
"Only Midoriya!"
Aizawa folds his hands on his stomach and leans back in his chair, observing Todoroki. He looks paler than usual.
"Are you alright, kid?"
OR
Izuku and Hitoshi are sent back in time to their first year at UA, and as a result, Shoto thinks there are body snatchers, making it a challenge for Izuku to get Shoto to like him this time around.

Summary
The hero commission has always kept a close eye on Izuku ever since they learned about One For All. Knowing that the quirk is for saving the world, they decide to send him back in time to about a year before Izuku’s first year in U.A. He can do anything he wants to fix the timeline from becoming the apocalypse it has become. The catch: Nobody is to know he’s Izuku Midoriya, or a time traveler other than the top ranks of the hero commission. Hence, he becomes a teacher, and goes under the name Mikumo Akatani.

Summary
Whoever said that "the past cannot be changed" obviously didn't take into account the existence of quirks and Izuku Midoriya's ability to cheat fate.
But that didn't matter; what mattered was using what he'd learned the first time around to stop things from happening again, because he'd be damned if he let the League of Villains go around causing havoc for a second time.
(Or: A run in with a villain sends Izuku twelve years into the past, where he becomes the teaching assistant of Class 1-A and decides to change some things up as he goes along, much to Aizawa's 'annoyance'.)

He ignores the police officers that circle him, watching him warily.
He ignores Eraserhead as the man gets close enough to grab him.
He simply stares at the empty sky and trembles.
"It's gone."
A pause. Not even the dying wind seemed to breathe.
"My only way home… it's gone."
Eraserhead takes a step forward.
Midoriya screams.
......Midoriya Izuku is a 19 year old quirkless vigilante living in a Nomu-pocalypse. While fighting with the League of Villains, a quirk accident sends him back in time. Stranded in the past, he decides to chase his childhood dream of becoming a Hero and help change the future for the better.
Even if it means babysitting -uh "teaching" his now significantly younger friends and husband.
