For the last six months, Steve Harrington and Eddie Munson have been in a relationship hidden behind closed doors. Only when parents are out of town and townspeople aren’t around can they act like they normally would around each other in public. As Eddie’s graduation day approaches, the logistics of their relationship come into question and whether being kept a secret is worth sacrificing a dream life in a far-away city.

After a particularly harsh Christmas he bumps into a handsome stranger named Eddie who is intrigued by the idea of having a platonic plus one for all the upcoming holidays. Through each holiday they develop an unexpected friendship as Eddie manage to break down Steve's carefully built walls. Somewhere along the way it becomes more for Steve, but there's no way Eddie could see him as more than a Holidate.
