Summary
As a child, Diluc had a bad habit of getting lost in the woods whenever he gathered blueberries for Adelinde. One stormy night, he thought he would never see his family again when a boy singing an eerie song helped him find his way home. His name was Kaeya, and ever since Diluc met him, all he needed to do was sing that song for Kaeya to find him.
This memory is the last thing Diluc thinks about as he collapses near an Abyss camp he just dismantled, bleeding out where no one can help him. Though he still hasn't reconciled with Kaeya, he musters the last of his strength in a desperate attempt to hold onto life.
And he starts singing.
