Henry saw the Barbie film with Bea and realized shortly after, that he was denied Barbies as a child from his grandparents because he was a boy, who shouldn’t be playing with such things. Bea never got Barbies either, but she was always more interested in other toys.
Henry comes to terms with the fact that he’ll never get to relive his childhood again and tries to leave it in the past, but now all he can think about is the loss of his father, his distant mother and the fact that he’ll never know what it feels like to experience the sheer joy of owning a toy like Barbie. -
