She turns at the spot where she has stood with Beast in the afternoon, but now the path looks so dark, and the supposed passage behind it so dark and gloomy. Belle lifts the lamp and cautiously creeps forward. She walks through the bushes, her dressing gown rustling against the branches, and a few steps further on she sees it.

“What’s it to you? Thanks for the help but I’m fine now.” He made as if to leave, Jafar stopped him with a hand to the chest.
In truth, Jafar didn’t know why was so intent on keeping this scruffy, obstinate man around. There was certainly some appeal to the classic roman profile, but it was topped with an unfortunate haircut and covered in ill-fitting clothes. And yet he was determined to learn more.
“I could use some information, and it seems like you might have it. Come, let’s discuss it over a drink somewhere private.” With a gentle tug to the man’s arm, he gestured them off into the streets.
There was a moment’s hesitation, then the man started walking. “Cesare. My name’s Cesare,” He mumbled, self-consciously rubbing his arms.
“Lovely. I’m Jafar. Hopefully we can help each other out.”

Jafar doesn't know why he is so attracted to the small-time dealer he saved from a beating (and worse), but somehow he just wants to make sure Cesare is okay. -

"Open your eyes," he orders. His voice is harsh, lust-roughened. "I want you to see me when I take you." She does as he says. Her heart is racing, and she can feel her whole body trembling.
Trembling not with fear, but with excitement and anticipation. It is a heady sensation, this counterfeit of danger, and already she is aroused beyond belief. It is all she can do to restrain herself from writhing against him, from giving in to that slow-burning ache that traces from the pit of her stomach to the juncture of her thighs. But that is against the rules of this game.
As if reading her thoughts, the man who holds her – for she can think of him only in those terms; in this moment he is not her husband, not her uncle, but merely some rough man who has put his hands on her and is determined to have his wicked way with her – chooses then to taunt her. "I can make you writhe," he hisses in her ear. "I can make you scream. I can make you beg for mercy ... and beg for more."
