Summary
September 18, 2017. Daniel Molloy sits in a cafe at the end of his block and drinks from an unsweetened latte with an extra espresso shot. He reads the news on his phone as he has his lunch-- a roast beef panini on a scratched up ceramic plate. He picks it up neatly with a napkin, but crumbs cascade sloppily from his mouth as he takes a bite.
Armand watches him from another table as he wipes away the debris at his chest and lets it fall onto the floor.

Oh my god. This fic feels so warm yet utterly devastating. Armand poses as a fan to get the chance to see Daniel again pre-Dubai. There's an interview, a kiss, and a deep yearning for another life. Just so melancholic yet promising for the future we know is yet to come. A must re-read.
