For Maestro Salieri’s birthday this year, Yun and I put together a twelve-part collection of art and writing-because, of course, we had to!
The collection unfolded over twelve hours, all devoted to him.No promises that it will be solemn. No promises that it will remain strictly historical from beginning to end. And no promises that Maestro Salieri himself would not fall silent if he ever saw it.
Tonight, there will be theatres, scores, pupils, an emperor, poets, and singers—
as well as a certain Mozart who is altogether too noisy.
