Chapter Text

The air felt heavy today, fog covered the streets, cars honked and people argued. It's not like this was anything new, it's been like this for about 2 weeks. The business at the Circus started to slow down because of the weather, no Circus members was happy about this... Except Harlequin.

Harlequin never had a problem with performing such acts, he enjoyed the look of terrified faces as he told horrific tales. He especially loved when Pierrot would watch him from afar, the look of sheer anger across his face only benefitted Harlequin. He loves making Pierrot rage knowing he was the cause, it gave him much joy. When the Circus stopped getting many visitors, it didn't upset him or anger him, he could care less. This just means he had more time to mess with that tall red clown.

Pierrot on the other hand loved performing, he loved hearing the, "ooo"s and "ah"s as he did all kinds of tricks. Pierrot didn't really have anything to do in his spare time, his acts kept him busy. He wasn't allowed to talk, so when his shifts ended it felt quite lonely. Harlequin never made it better by annoying the absolute fuck out of him. Every time he saw that stupid smug look on his face he wishes he could just penetrate a knife through his neck and watch the blood spill out of his neck as he choked and fell limp to the ground. Pierrot never actually tried to kill Harlequin, only wanted to bring him massive amounts of pain until he looked like he was close to dying.

They couldn't have another member dying

Pierrot sighed as he sat on the seats his audience would usually be. He looked around his tent and stared at the bright yellow lights hanging around the top of his tent. Pierrot grew bored of the silence and walked out of his tent, to his surprise Harlequin wasn't waiting around like he usually was. Pierrot felt a sense of relief wash over him.

Sure Pierrot was much stronger and taller than Harlequin, but it was still tiring having to wrestle with him.

Pierrot continued to walk away from his tent and into the foggy streets until he reached the coffee shop he went to with the Doctor regularly. They were never greeted with a warm welcome, but they still got their coffees, and they were really good to be honest. Pierrot always thought at some point they'd try to poison it. But the Circus members can smell poison, so it's not like they're at risk for such things. Pierrot walked in and took a seat, waiting to be greeted by a waiter.

"Pierrot?"

He hears a familiar voice say, Pierrot looks up to see the person who helped him a few days ago when he was on the ground... Somewhat helpless. They had interned and got the bastard to leave Pierrot alone, he would forever be grateful.

Pierrot gave them a warm smile, tilting his head making me bells on his hat jingle. "Right, I forgot you can't talk" MC chuckles awkwardly, "what can I get for you?" They hand Pierrot a menu. Pierrot points to the not coffee and then at the caramel, "you want it with caramel?" MC asked, Pierrot nodded, his smile still plastered on his face. MC smiles back and walked into the back of the small cafe. Pierrot sat there looking out the window, he was so used to having company here. But Doctor was busy treating Jester, no one knows what happened to him, but Harlequin keeps going on about how Ticket Taker must have been rough with them. Pierrot always rolled his eyes when Harlequin said that, sure Ticket Taker and Jester were a couple, but they were very professional and Pierrot doubted they they've ever had rough intercourse.

Pierrot cringed at the thought of the two most mature members being so intimate with each other. Pierrot loved romance, but not when it came to the other members, their love lives didn't really interest him. Pierrot looked down at the table, his claws tapping on it. Pierrot wished someone loved him, he yearned for any kind of affection, he hasn't had something like in a long time.

If only Harlequin hadn't killed her

Pierrot realized that his coffee was taking longer than usual but he had a lot of patience. Pierrot sat there for a minute longer before MC came back, "sorry for the long wait" Pierrot smiled once more and motioned his hand in a, no worries.

Pierrot took his coffee and walked out the door, he didn't want to sit in their anymore, he could feel she's on him the whole time. Pierrot walked back to the Circus, not even noticing that he was walking into a busy street. Lucky enough he wasn't due to the red light and heavy traffic today. Once Pierrot entered the grounds of the Circus, he made his way to Doctor's tent. He opened the flap to the Doctor's cyan tent and looked around for him, he wanted to call out his name but new he'd be breaking a rule. Though he didn't think Doctor would care, but if Jester was here then yes, he would very much care. Pierrot wand actually sure why he had to stay quiet, it's not like they were getting any visitors today.

Maybe Jester was just paranoid that someone would trespass and witness Pierrot talking

It most likely wouldn't end well for them

Pierrot continued to walk until he found Doctor working on Ticket Taker instead of Jester. "Hello, Pierrot" Doctor said without even bothering to look at him, "what brings you here today?" Pierrot rolled his eyes, Doctor knows he can't speak, why bother to ask? "You can speak around me, Pierrot" Pierrot watched as Ticket Taker glared at the Doctor, "no, he can not speak, we've made that clear, haven't we Pierrot"

Pierrot nodded

Doctor didn't bother replying and continued to work on Ticket Takers arm, Pierrot signed, "what happened to you?"

"I almost forgot to could sign" Ticket Taker mumbled before replying to his question, "accidentally cut myself, that's all." Suddenly Pierrot heard the annoying familiar voice, he turned around to unsurprisingly spot Harlequin.

"What lies, Ticket Taker" Harlequin snickered, "I heard you and Jester last night~" he had a big grin on his face, the usual one he had when trying to piss someone off... It always worked.

Ticket Taker rolled his eyes, "do you need Doctor to check you out Harlequin? Because I assure you Jester and I did nothing" Harlequin squinted, "whatever you say, Bil."

Ticket Taker grimaced, "don't call me that"

Harlequin's grin only grew wider, "what~? Is Jester the only one allowed to call you that~"

Ticket Taker contained his composure, not wanting to satisfy Harlequin by giving him the reaction he wants. "It's his nickname for me, I do not consent to you using it" he paused "now get out."

"Fine~" Harlequin hummed as he walked out of the tent. For a moment Pierrot thought Harlequin hadn't noticed him, but then he felt something poke him, he turned around to notice Harlequin had failed at an attempt to throw a dagger in his back. Pierrot's eyes widened and his face grew dark as he stared down Harlequin

"Pierrot..." Ticket Taker said, still bound to the Doctor's chair as he worked on his deep wound.

Pierrot ignored him and chased after Harlequin, he ran away from Pierrot but not because of fear. Harlequin just wanted Pierrot to look pathetic as he chased him around the Circus tents. Pierrot eventually caught up To Harlequin and tackled him, grabbing his neck and strangling him. Harlequins mouth lips curled into a sick smiled, "look at you all riled up~" he snickered even though Pierrots grip was tightening, "weak." Pierrot landed a punch at Harlequin's face, if he had done it any harder the mask would've cracked. Pierrot got up and brushed himself off, "I'm not wasting any more time on you" he said, his voice low. Harlequin scoffed, "oh come on~ you're giving up that easily?"

Pierrot rolled his eyes, "you're a waste of time, now get out my way" he said as he pushed past Harlequin and to his tent.

Pierrot couldn't wait until the fog cleared up and he could get back to performing. It felt so... Empty here... Lonely.

Pierrot entered his tent and sat on his bed before laying down and staring at the ceiling
