[Podfic] Cultivate: Slow Life on a Monster-Infested Mountain by NeonGhostCat

Summary:

Podfic. Posting on Mondays and Fridays. When trying to transfer Shen Yuan from the real world to Proud Immortal Demon Way, the System runs into an error. The transfer is not complete.

Shen Yuan is dropped off at the foot of a mountain aware of two things: he's in the story, and the Shen Qingqiu of this world is not only aware but thinks he tried to possess his body — and he's PISSED. Shen Yuan tries to opt out and live a simple life on what locals tell him is a monster-infested mountain no one in their right mind would bother with.

Sounds like a great hiding spot!

(TL;DR: Stardew Scum Villain Valley Mountain.)

I'll be updating every Monday and Friday morning, around 7AM Central (US) Time.

I was attracted to the story in the first place by the mention of Stardew Valley! I'd never read this pairing before. What a great couple they make! But that's one of the things I really like about Scum Villain, so many possibilities. NeonGhostCat has made this world within a world that you just want to STAY in. And it's long enough that you kind of can! :) I've been dying to record it for ages.

You may be aware that SingsofEcho started a podfic of Cultivate previously; before I recorded a single word, I checked with them to make sure I wasn't stepping on their toes by doing one myself. They were so nice about it. 

This is the longest work I've ever recorded. Previous longest was 29.5 hours. I read at about 10,000 words per hour, so this podfic will ultimately be 46 to 47 hours long when complete. I SAID I like long works and now I'm gonna PROVE it :)
