Chapter Text
Time: Roughly a month after the events of Mochi Madness.
Location: Paldea’s northwest corner.
Florian was out, wandering the Palean countryside. He was out, looking for some sort of stake in the ground. Or was it a shiny Pokémon? He couldn’t even remember at this point. All Florian’s mind could think of was his time at Blueberry Academy.
Being a transfer student was interesting. He got to see really amazing things… and people… including Kieran. It was a shame that he hasn’t gotten to spend as much time with Kieran now that it was over.
If only there was some way that Florian could show him Paldea…. Just some way.
Well, technically, he had already shown Kieran a bit of Paldea, but it was the whole, Area Zero thing.
Florian just wished there was a way he could spend some time with Kieran in Paldea.

“What is it, lord Arceus?”
“This one, grant his wish.”
“If I may ask, why, lord Arceus?”
“Because it leads to boys kissing.”
“…”
“…”
“Very well, as you wish.”

As if fate had mysteriously heard him or something, Florian’s phone began to ring.
“Hello?” Florian answered, “Who is this?”
“Hello, Master Florian.” Director Clavell answered.
“Ah, Director, what’s going on?” Florian asked, wondering what caused this call to reach him for some reason.
Director Clavell answered, “Well you see, I figured you’d be happy to hear that your time as a transfer student has caused us to pick up two transfer students from Blueberry Academy for some time.”
“Really? Would I know them?” Florian asked, pacing around the field he was in. Miradon watched him closely, definitely confused.
“I believe so, a pair of siblings were the only volunteers.” The Director answered. “An elder sister, Carmine, and a younger brother, Kieran.”
“I’ll show them around myself!” Florian blurted out, completely ecstatic.
Director Clavell let out a small laugh, “You seem excited, I’ll let you know when they arrive.
After Director Clavell hung up the phone, Florian couldn’t help but celebrate. After thoroughly confusing Miradon, Florian pulled out his Rotom Phone.
A shame he couldn’t text Kieran directly, but letting Carmine know he was excited was good enough.
After typing away a text that read, “I was just informed that two certain people would be coming to Paldea for a while” He finally hit send.
After confusing Miradon some more in his excitement, he received a call. Not from Carmine, like he expected, It was Penny.
Almost instantly after picking up, Penny spoke.“Hey, I just heard we were gonna have some transfer students for a while, and I bet we both know who they are.”
“That’s right!” Florian cheered. “Kieran and Carmine!”
Penny sighed in response to Florian’s excitement. “You’re so excited, you’re starting to sound like Nemona.”
“The whole gang is getting back together! How could I not be excited?” Florian replied. “The last time we were all together was the Mochi Incident.”
“Eugh, I couldn’t eat mochi for ages after that, don’t remind me.” Penny shuddered at the thought.
“And now, we get to take them on a proper tour of Paldea! Do you know how cool that is?” Florian nearly shouted.
“Just wonder when they’re gonna get here…” Florian trailed off.
Penny paused for a moment, “You… you didn’t know? They’re showing up like, today.”
“Oh, well then I’ll have to get ready-TODAY?”
Florian could hear Penny stifle a laugh over the phone. “Yeah, they should show up at Uva Academy tonight.”
“Don’t laugh at me!” Florian called her out. “I gotta get going then!”
Shortly after hanging up the phone, Florian remembered where he was.
The most northwestern corner of Paldea. So extremely far from his house, and Uva Academy.
Florian practically flew onto Miradon’s back, shouting out, “Step on it, Miradon! We gotta hurry!”
And the two of them took off, heading down towards the Academy. Desperately trying not to be late for this incredibly important situation involving his friends.
Eventually, Miradon took off into the sky, flying over the hills and mountains of Paldea.
If he didn’t get there first, then one of his friends would. Let’s see…
Penny would be okay for them to immediately run into. She’s low energy enough.
Arven is definitely level headed enough to not overwhelm them when they arrive.
And Nemona… oh no.
He should probably hurry. As much of a good friend Nemona was, she was also extremely energetic, and that doesn’t work well with people who just had a flight, and are possibly jet lagged.
Forget probably, he definitely needed to hurry!
“Miradon, I’m so lucky that I’ve got you.”
