Summary
When the aloof Master of Fear, Jonathan Crane, finds himself sharing a hideout with the seemingly foolish and manipulative Mad Hatter, he's inexplicably drawn into the tangled web of an unexpected physical connection, one that gradually turns emotional and lulls him into thinking the two can shed their criminal pasts to share a fulfilling future together. From diabolical rogue to freedom-stripped Arkham inmate to upstanding Gotham citizen, Jonathan dives headfirst into this wildly foreign pursuit—happiness.
But fear is in Jonathan's blood, both as an obsession and, to his chagrin, a ruling source of pain leading him back to places where madness can take control.
