“Hey mom, guess what? We did it, we beat the extermin….”
The signal of her phone cut off and a small shadow fell over her face.

“Don’t fuckin move.”

A slow American drawl made its way to her ears, but time had slowed down and it sounded — and felt — like she was underwater.

At some point her eyes had become damp with tears and Charlie felt the salt on her tongue. It was watery and warm and it made her feel weak.

Through her tears, she saw Vaggi (was that Vaggi? She couldn’t be sure of anything anymore) and Lucifer opened the door to their room, tentatively, gently.

“Charlie-”

A sweet yet bitter damp cloth clamped over her mouth, a rope with the texture of sandpaper bound her wrists together behind her back, she breathed in, and the world went dark.

Notes:

Hey guys. One of us doesn't have English as our first language but is infinitely better at English than our first language and the other one is dyslexic so fucking enjoy it you freak.

The grammar and spelling might be, like, really off sometimes and we are prepared to grovel in submission if that chance does arise. Please leave a comment if anything REALLY major is bad, like Blitz's name is wrong or the grammar is so bad you want to stop reading because it probably will. This was not beta'ed.

I, fuckeduplittlewhiny_bitch, will also be posting a bunch of mainly Huskerdust-themed Kinktober oneshots in October so please check those out once the time rolls around.

The next chapters may not come out in a fuckin while so this should be one of those works you subscribe to, then forget about.

Enjoy!!! <3

Hi this is the Co author, Live_To_See_A_Ray_Of_Sunshine, who wrote the entire B plot and the parts where Lucifer gets therapy with the seven deadly Sins. :) idk what to say. Hope you love it as much as I love it. Also if something is spelt wrong i'm not sorry about it.
K enjoy. ❤️

Chapter 1: Do you remember (the 21st Night of September)

Chapter Text

Our hearts were ringin'

In the key that our souls were singin'

-Wind, Earth and Fire

“Everyone listen the fuck up!”

Husk stood behind the bar and everyone turned to look at him as he stopped mixing the current drink he was making.

“We just kicked some major angel ass and also killed one rather fuckin powerful archangel so I think that deserves a toast.”

Everyone erupted in cheers and the cat demon smiled faintly to himself.

Husk looked up from the bar and in the corner Alastor made a noise of half-disgust, half-pain from one of the plush chairs in the corner of the hotel’s lobby. The glowing green thread around the nasty-looking gash oozing gore and blood spoke for itself.

If Husk was being honest to himself, the thread looked like it was going to break any second and he was finally going to be free of this dumb fucker whose soul he was tied to.

Angel reached over the bar, grabbing onto a bright pink margarita glass with salt around the edges and a love heart stick balanced precariously over the edge.

“Hey what the shit are you doing?” Husk asked, because this was his bar.

“Is my Harder Daddy done? I've been waiting for ages.”

Angel rolled his gorgeous cerise and yellow eyes and smirked at him. It really was really goddamn sexy how he was leaning how his ass was sat up on his bar, but Husk would never admit it out loud to himself. He was better than those fuckers who yelled out stuff like, “I’ve seen his movies! I’ve jerked off to all his movies!”

Those fuckers didn’t deserve the real Angel. They never would.

If he was entirely honest with himself, he wasn’t sure he would either but he would try. For Angel.

Where the fuck had that thought come out of?

Husk growled.

“Just wait a damn minute will you?”

Husk grabbed the glass from Angel and turned behind to finish mixing it.

“Hey Pentious,” he leaned over his shoulder to call,

“Your dirty soda’s done.”

“Oooh. Thank you bartender.”  Pentious’s eyes glowed happily. They never did that, but considering all of them had made it out alive, everyone was allowed to be a little strange.

Pentious took his glass and went to sit by Cherri over by the fireplace. It was interesting how he moved, like water but not really. And didn’t it hurt to have the rough gravel of Hell constantly assault those sensitive-looking scales?

Husk shrugged. Not his problem.

                    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Charlie and Vaggi sat in their room, on top of the plush red rug as the centrepiece. The ice in their drinks slowly melted into the carpet from the condensation.
“ We did it,” Charlie sighed, flopping her head back onto the fuzzy rug. Vaggi swiped Charlie’s drink to stop it from falling into the sheets. Her face softened as she saw the ecstatic look on her girlfriend’s face.
“ Hell yeah we did.” A bubbly feeling rose up in her chest, enveloping her thoughts and emotions. They did it! They had actually done it!
They’d fought against heaven and won. All of them were alive!
The bubbly feeling grew like a happy balloon made of sunshine and in that moment, it felt like nothing would bring her down.
Charlie laughed, sitting up right to kiss Vaggi lightly on her cheek. Vaggi smiled down at the drinks and handed Charlie’s back to her.
“Cheers to not dying.”
 Charlie held her glass up to Vaggi, letting the light from the ceiling fall into the cone shaped glass. Vaggi smiled and clacked her glass against Charlie’s and they simultaneously finished off their drinks.
“Oh and here.”
Vaggi handed Charlie a small beaded rainbow friendship bracelet that said Hazbin Hotel on it. It had tiny glass beads that sparkled differently when you rotated your wrist under the light and it shimmered, as if angelic light had been cast upon it.
“Aww thanks sweetie.”
Charlie smiled at Vaggi.
They both laughed slightly to one other before they heard a faint knock at the door, which creaked open slightly to hear Lucifer’s nervous voice on the other side.
“Sorry to interrupt dears,” he said, stepping inside the room.
“ But I was wondering if I would be able to borrow Vaggi for a second?”
“If it’s alright with you of course.”
He gave a very awkward smile to them both, his white hat bobbing on his head vigorously.
Vaggi looked at Charlie and she gave her the slight nod of approval. Vaggi handed Charlie her empty glass and wandered into the corridor, closing the door behind her.
Charlie sighed and stood up off her bed, placing the two empty glasses on the side table at the head of her bed. She pulled out her phone from her pocket and walked over to her window and paced back and forth, ignoring the foreboding sense that came with clicking open the black screen.
“Come on. Pick up, mom. Please.”
Her voice sounded pleading, something she never liked because it made her feel weaker than the public already assumed of her. It felt like begging, and she never did that. Unless Vaggi made her, but that was different. And consensual.
The phone went to voicemail and Charlie frowned for a second before putting on her signature Charlie smile Alastor had told her was so valuable.
“Hey mom, guess what? We did it, we beat the extermin….”
The signal of her phone cut off and a small shadow fell over her face.
