Summary
You’re on a path in the woods. And at the end of that path is a cabin. And in the basement of that cabin is a Paintress.
You’re here to slay her. If you don’t, it will be the end of the world.
So, Renoir walks. Up the path until he finds the little building at its end, its exterior unremarkable. He knows, in that instinctual way a prey animal feels eyes upon it, that he has been here before. He’s been here so many times.
Or: Renoir and Aline attempt to chase down a Writer. They're trapped in a Manuscript, forced to play out the same scenes, over and over. They cannot stop hurting each another.
