The Good Prince is a man as patient as he is terrifying; and Mydei fears, with each passing day of captivity, that no-one would be strong enough to weather this endless cruelty, and escape with their body and mind intact.

Ch 8/8 (complete); dead dove mind the tags; the author’s note about being raised catholic made me laugh and i feel like im in the same boat. It’s hard to succinctly put into words how this fic made me feel, but i can say it was impossible for me to put down and i read it all over two days. I thought about how typically in porn and hentai, the mind break is so quick, moving on swiftly to the final state of that male-gaze-y, cock-obsessed whore - i really enjoyed that this fic took its time to detail step by horrific step the journey Mydei endured through the process of his mind break. YMMV on the open ending but i feel its the perfect way to close this fic.
