After Otoya's text message, indicating that Rin liked Hiori, the group couldn’t help but meddle again in the life of the other Itoshi. The first thing they did was gather once more in Aiku’s room to try and come up with a plan to bring the two boys together. Since Hiori had participated in Sae’s previous plan, they had to leave him out this time, as he was personally involved in it. And something they love as much as gossip is surprises; so, they weren’t going to sabotage this one. Even though the cyan-haired boy might have suspected that Rin liked him, he wouldn’t know the group’s strategies to bring them together.
