All right, here we go.
Originally, this was written as another fun side project. This time it was a visual novel that I was writing for myself, about an OC son of Lara Croft facing a dark force in a hub between universes. Then I thought to myself, what the hell? I can turn this into an actual story. One written in the style of an actual novel instead of a visual one.
The main setting of this series is Bridge City, on the Bridge World of the Bridge System. I call it that because it is, for lack of a better word, a bridge between different universes. It is a refuge for characters from various fandoms and franchises, who have seen much hurt in their original universes and want a chance to start new. There is so much hurt that these characters are offered an opportunity to come to this world, start over, and heal.
However, this place is not quite the paradise it may sound at first. There will be conflicts, whether as minor as family conflicts or major ones like political scandals and crime dramas. I aim to make this universe sound unique but feel like it is lived in.
I’ll try to update a much as possible. I just wanted to get something out before I lose it. If you have any recommendations or ideas, such as characters to add or story threads, feel free to let me know!
