Chapter Text

Once upon a time in Israel, there lived a woman named Ruth Bat-Seraph who was secretly a superheroine named Sabra. She was married to an IDF general named Carmel Noach and they have five kids all named Ariel, two sons and three daughters. They live in a penthouse in Tel-Aviv. One day, Sabra realized she had a super important meeting in Holon with someone...secret.

"Hey Carmel?"

"What, Ruth?"

"I need to go to Holon."

"Why?"

"Mossad stuff! I can't tell you! Besides, why do you want to know? Are you a traitor?"

"Ruth, are you fucking stupid? I'm literally a general in the army!"

"Then, go pick up the kids from school because I have important Mossad stuff!"

"Ugh, whatever."

Carmel left to pick up the Ariels and Sabra knew this was her cue. She changed into her costume, went outside, and then shot up into the sky. She didn't really have important Mossad stuff in Holon but she had something more important. As she flew, she kept a lookout for a small dilapidated house with a pink sign. Soon, she saw it and flew down. However, she lost control and she crashed into a tree.

"Well, took you long enough, sukhar."

Sabra looked up to see her lover, Ruby Thursday. Ruby Thursday was a woman with a ruby orb instead of a human head and it looked like today she was sporting a sports bra and baggy pants.

"Don't pretend to speak my language just because you love me, Thursday."

"Oh, come on, I know you like it, sukhar."

"You're right, nehedar, I do."

"And what does nehedar mean, my Israeli beloved?"

"It means gorgeous, just like you."

"Aww, you're sweet."

Ruby led Sabra inside the house and took her to her living room, a gray walled room filled with used and worn-out furniture and pictures of famous opera singers. The room was completed by a TV with a few cracks in it.

"You wanna watch TV, Ruth?"

"Sure."

"Oh but first, do you want some coffee?"

"Yes please."

Ruth watched as Ruby made some coffee, poured it into two cups, and then brought it over to the couch on a tray. Then, Ruby brought a blanket and laid it over the two of them. Ruby then turned on the TV and they watched "Fauda", their fav Israeli show. Ruby's favorite character was Gabi but Ruth's favorite character was Boaz. Ruth snuggled up against Ruby and let herself go and laid her head on Ruby's shoulder.

Ruby had brought over some fruits and nuts and oh, how delicious they were. Ruth wished she could stay with Ruby forever, just the two of them, plus Carmel and the Ariels, watching "Fauda". However, a few episodes went by and Ruth started freaking out.

"What time is it!?"

"It's 5 PM, why?"

"Oh, I'm sorry Ruby, I have to go!"

"Wait, why?"

"Leave me alone, bitch! I have to go do Mossad stuff!"

Ruby was left shocked as Ruth flew away toward Ramat Gan, also not for Mossad stuff but for something else.

Notes:

Sukhar is Hebrew for sugar and nehedar is Hebrew for gorgeous
