Summary
It's 1970, and Jayce is two years into his biotechnology master's program, having had no progress on his thesis. He's utterly and completely lost in life, to say the least. Just when he's about to drop out, he meets Viktor, a PhD candidate who reignites his passion for science and, well, life. However, his passions don't stop there.
But as much as Jayce tries to get closer to Viktor, the more Viktor pulls away. Jayce doesn't realize why until Viktor collapses in the lab.
When he discovers Viktor's illness, his passion for biotech flares—not out of excitement, but out of necessity. Because without further medical research, Viktor's life is on the line.
It's a race against death, and Jayce is determined to win, especially as their relationship deepens in more ways than one.
