Chapter Text
I’m at a beach, I slowly flutter open my eyes and see a green-haired boy in my hazy vision.
“Come on Kacchan! You promised that you'd swim with me.” Izuku called out.
I feel a warm hand grasp mine, I lazily get pulled up still fatigued with sleep.
How did I get here?
Izuku and I run into the cold water, the contrast from the cold water and my warm body from the hot sun feels good on my skin.
I wish I could stay here with you forever.
I hear his soft giggle in my ear, how I wish I could hear it forever.
Izuku grabs my arms and tries to push me under the water, I take him with me and we both get pulled under, and the current breezes across our faces.
Is it okay for me to feel like this? He grabs my face as we push above the water, the breath from his mouth warming up my upper lip. I look into his mossy eyes and see he's already gazing at me with his eyes full of love.
What is this feeling?
I slowly lean forward and close off the remaining space. Izuku's soft lips push against mine.
Slowly he starts to fade away, and before I have a chance to reach for him, it all goes black.

Katsuki wakes up with a strained gasp, he tries to sit up but there's a sharp pain radiating through his body.
Where am I? He looks up and sees a bright light blinding his vision.
"Kacchan you're finally awake, are you feeling okay? Should I get a doctor?" a familiar voice worries
Izuku?
Katsuki rubs his eyes, looks in front of him, and sees Izuku lurking over him.
"Stop you're yapping, I just woke up, shitty nerd," Katsuki grunted.
"Oh, right. I'm sorry Kacchan" Izuku remarked.
There's a knock on the door, and Izuku and Katsuki turn to see who's about to enter the room. It's his parents, and coming in behind them is a doctor. His parents drag a chair from the corner of the room and sit next to the bed next to Katsuki, the doctor stands at the foot of the bed with a clipboard in hand.
Izuku looks weary being in the room with them so he stands up and starts to walk towards the door. "I should probably leave and let you guys have this conversation alone, sorry for intruding." He states politely, as he closes the door behind them.
The doctor clicks his tongue and lightly daps the tip of his finger against his tongue to flip through the papers. He makes eye contact with his parents and starts to speak, "So, since Katsuki had a bad injury to his heart and arm he's gonna have to stay here for about three more days so he has some more time to recover, and so we can look over him to make sure he's okay and there are no underlying issues with his injuries." He informally says
His parents nod and look at each other and the doctor continues to speak, "He is allowed to have visits from friends and family of course, but visiting hours start from 7 am to 8 pm just to let you know about that, if there is any other questions you guys have me or any other doctor on his case will be happy to answer those for you." He finished off.
His parents make eye contact and then look to the doctor, "We don't have any questions right now, but thank you for letting us know about our son's condition." Mistuki says with kindness.
The doctor nods and smiles and walks out of the room, shutting the door behind him. Seconds after the doctor leaves, Izuku reenters the room, looking worried about Katsuki.
He walks over to his side, gives him a once-over, and sits down in the chair that he was previously sitting in.
"Hi Izuku, if you like we could step out and give you guys some privacy," Masuru says.
Izuku nods and starts to reply. "Hi, yeah that would be nice. Thank you." he smiles back at them.
Katsukis parents start to exit the room, "Don't give him a hard time Katsuki, you don't want to injure yourself even more."
"Yeah, yeah, whatever. " Katsuki replies groggily, still exhausted from his sleep.
Katsukis parents close the door behind them, and Izuku thinks for a second to figure out what he will say that doesn't upset Katsuki, he doesn't want to upset him while he is recovering. But Akatsuki beats him to it and says something before Izuku can even muster anything.
"Don't give me any of that 'Get well soon' shit, I don't want to hear it, and I know when our class finds out I'm awake they're gonna be blowing up my phone with shit like that." Katsuki groans.
"I'm not going to don't worry, I just want to see how you are doing and if you need help while you are recovering," he responds.
"Well I could use some water, I'm dehydrated as shit," Katsuki grumbles.
Izuku nods, he stands up and sees a cart with water, plastic cups, straws, and other little snacks. He walks over and carefully pours him a glass being careful not to spill it. He walks back over to Katsuki and holds it in front of him. He tries to grab it from him to take a sip but Izuku pulls it away with an unreadable look on his face.
"Let me hold it for you, I don't want you to strain yourself, and I'm supposed to be helping you, aren't I?" Izuku says with a look.
Katsuki groans, but he leans forward toward the cup in Izuku's grasp and starts to drink.
He pulls back and Izuku smiles at him. "See, now was that too hard." Izuku questions.
"Guess not, but thanks for offering to help me, I guess," Katsuki says with a pink tint to his face, Izuku notices but doesn't say anything, well because he doesn't want to upset him.
"Is there anything else you want to do, instead of me worrying over you?" Izuku questioned, looking at Katsuki's eyes.
Katsuki ponders for a second, "We could watch a movie or something, you have your computer with you, right?" Izuku nods,
"Yup, what do you want to watch?"
"We could just start a TV show. I'm gonna be here for three more days, do you think we could finish a show in that short of time?" Katsuki questioned
"Yes, of course! Even if we don't finish it in three days we can finish it back at the dorms. Do you have anything you want to watch?" He said.
Izuku has his backpack with him, he pulls out his computer and opens up Netflix, he puts the computer on the table attached to the hospital bed so Katsuki can scroll through and find a show. He scrolls through and selects a show.
"Oh, I've heard of this show. I heard it's really good." Izuku says
"Of course, it's good, because I picked it."
"Kacchannnn..." Izuku draws out jokingly.
Katsuki lets out a strained laugh as they quiet down so they can start the show. They stay in the same spots for a while but after a while Izuku gets tired of how he is sitting, he leans on his bed and accidentally touches Katsuki. He quickly moved his hand and got comfortable without bothering Katsuki.
They sat in a comfortable silence while they continued to watch their TV show, they both were enjoying it. Izuku was glad he let Katsuki choose the show, if he chose it probably would've been an All Might docuseries that they had both probably watched millions of times before.
Time seems to slip away from them, they hear a knock at the door as the doctor from earlier enters the room.
“I just came in to let you know visitation hours are over, but you can come back tomorrow at 7 am if you’d like.”
Izuku stands up, collects his things, and prepares to leave. “I’m just gonna say goodbye quickly,” Izuku says, sounding like he’s asking permission to say goodbye.
“Of course, I’ll be out then.” Katsukis doctor says while he closes the door.
Izuku looks at Katsuki, “You’ll be okay, right?” he questions, Izuku was always such a worrywart.
“Of course, I’ll be fine, shitty Deku,” he replies, his voice quieting at the end of his sentence.
“Okay good, I’ll be back tomorrow if you're still up to that?” Katsuki nods, looking excited but he quickly wipes that look off his face returning to his familiar stoic face.
“Okay, have a good night Kacchan, If you need anything you can always text me.”
“Alright, bye now Deku. Better head home so your mom doesn't start worrying.”
Izuku quickly nods and hurries out of the room, he waits for his footsteps to disappear before he lets out a sigh and stares up at the ceiling, He is still thinking about his little ‘dream’, or whatever you would call it. It was hard to act normal around Izuku knowing what they did in his dream.
They kissed. And other coupley stuff, this was all too confusing for him. He had just woken up from a coma and he was worrying about a dream he had about him.
This doesn’t mean anything, his brain must've been confused. Katsuki is not gay. I mean sure, he's never had a girlfriend, or a crush on anyone in general. He was far too occupied with becoming the strongest that he never thought about romance.
Ugh, the word even made him feel sick just thinking about it. His stomach felt like it was doing flips. Katsuki tries everything he can to try to get this off his mind, thinking about that show they were watching, then that makes him think of Izuku again.
He tries thinking about training, but his brain goes back to him.
Is there something wrong with me?
This can’t be normal right?
I shouldn't worry about this anymore, it was just a dream. He dreams about the stupidest shit sometimes that means nothing, so why was this stuck in his head? This is a one-time thing, he's not gonna dream about Izuku anymore.
Izuku walks into his home and calls out to his mom.
"Hey Mom, I'm home!"
His Mom patters on the floor and greets her son, " Hi Izuku, how was Katsuki doing?"
"He seems to be doing good, at the hospital we just sat and watched some TV on my computer."
His Mom smiles and says, "That's nice of you to spend time with Katsuki."
Izuku nods, "Well, I am going to go to my room. I'm kinda tired." He lied.
He needed to research some stuff on his computer and didn't want his Mom questioning him. He walked passed her and headed down the hall to his room, with All Might decor hanging outside his door. He walked in and closed the door behind him, he took his bag off his back and sat down at his desk where his PC lives.
He starts looking up advice to say to people who are recovering in the hospital. No, he wouldn't like any of this stuff, it's too 'copy and paste' and Kacchan was just complaining about that before.
He quickly exits out of the tab, he shouldn't have wasted his time on stupid stuff like that, and Izuku hears a slight grumble in his stomach. Maybe he should just grab a quick snack. No, it's far too late.
He sighs and turns off his computer, he does a quick stretch and goes to get ready for bed. After, he goes to lie in bed. As he lays down he hears his phone ding.
Kacchan:
Thank you for today.
Izuku quickly responds.
Deku:
What are you thanking me for Kacchan? I was just spending time with my friend. :)
Kacchan:
Right, well I suppose you're going to sleep so, goodnight and I'll see you tomorrow.
Deku:
Yeah, see you tomorrow Kacchan. Sleep well.
Izuku turns off his phone and lays his head on his pillow.
It doesn't take him long to fall asleep, and he falls asleep with thoughts of Katsuki going through his mind.
