Summary
Throughout the seventies, John writes letters to Paul to let out all of the things that he can never actually say. He never intends to send them, of course. In retrospect, maybe he shouldn’t have addressed them and put the stamps on, although in his defense, how was he supposed to know that Sean would go through his drawers and decide to put them in the mailbox?

sean accidentally sends john’s love letters to paul that were never meant to be send. john flies to london and checks paul’s mail box every day until paul notices him and invites to the house. both getting divorced they spend plenty of time together until paul finally receives john’s letters. he reads only the angry one and they fight. later he reads the rest of them, finds out about john’s feelings, flies to the us and they reconcile. john avoids assassination because he was with paul
