You get too close to someone like that and it’s only a matter of time before they draw blood. Dabi knows that for a fact because Hawks tastes like a death sentence on his tongue. He kisses with teeth, always, and his nails bite where it’ll hurt. He’s mean. He’s sharp. He’s focused and goal-oriented. He’s like Dabi.

A friend, a cynic and a fighter can’t meet each other in the middle. Dabi pays careful attention to Hawks and sees all the warning signs leading to betrayal, but he also unexpectedly discovers all the warning signs leading to a man trapped by internal emotional turmoil.
