Syrene watched as her wife worked her body leaned over her desk with a mountain of paperwork bags underneath her eyes from the long nights she worked. Syrene could only guess how tired Yukong was she needed a break to relax and rest but she knew how hard it'll be for Yukong to actually take one.
A smile appeared on syrene's face with a small fire of determination in her eyes she exited the sky-faring commision getting her phone out, looking through her contacts she clicked on her last message from stelle.
Sy: stelle I need you and the other trailblazers help please, only if you're up to it of course.
The reply from stelle was almost instant syrene wondered if stelle was on the phone with someone else before she texted.
St: hey sticker
St: what is it that you need help with syrene?
A smile appeared on syrene's face as she shook her head stelle always seemed eager to help someone.
Sy: I want Yukong to take a break and have a night out to relax do you know anywhere good away from the xianzhou?
It took a couple of minutes for stelle to send a message probably thinking of a few places and narrowing it down.
St: you have penacony they're having a dance and it's in a dreamland.
Syrene smiled at the message finding stelle's information about the dance useful for her plans.
Sy: that's perfect thank you stelle.
Sy: finger heart sticker.
As syrene was about to put her phone away she received another text from stelle.
St: you'll need an invitation to go on penacony but I think I can invite you myself!
Syrene just laughed at the message finding it enduring.
Sy: no need, I've been to penacony before it's just been a long while since I've been there.
Syrene put her phone away turning towards the direction of exalting sanctum so she could see the general at the seat of divine foresight.
'if he's even there.'
Syrene sighed rubbing her temples as thought passed through as she made her journey there. Thankfully she didn't need to make the journey all the way to the exalting sanctum as she spotted the general walking towards him.
"General Jing yuan a moment of your time please.
"Of course madam syrene"
The two walk side by side ready to discuss what syrene has in plan.
"I want to take Yukong out for the night so she can relax and rest the location I had in mind was penacony and don't say no general"
Syrene stopped in her steps as she looked up at the general with a stern look in her eyes as she placed a hand on her waist.
"Yukong is tired from the long nights from the paperwork that she has to do she had bags underneath her eyes and her back would be sore from the amount she is leaned over her desk working I hope this makes my case general on how my wife needs a break"
Jing yuan couldn't argue with syrene's words he knew Yukong's work load must've double due to the recent incidents and he thinks one night away from work could be useful for Yukong so he sighed nodding his head as peered at syrene.
"Yukong will be released from duty tonight to have a night out"
"Thank you general"
"You're welcome madam syrene"
The general watched as syrene strides away with a spring in her step which he could only smile at and wonder where her next stop is.
Fu Xuan looked up at syrene when she had walked up to her it wasn't rare for syrene to visit the divination commision since she would chat to the people here like herself and qingque but the look in syrene's eyes tells Fu Xuan this meeting isn't a normal one.
"Fu Xuan, Yukong will be away from the sky-faring commision for tonight I already texted xikui and she agreed to do some of Yukong's work while she's away I was hoping you could assist her with the paper work"
Fu Xuan was shocked at syrene's words since it's rare for syrene to be this prepared and this organised.
"Has the general been informed about this and has he allowed it"
"Yes and yes, will you help Fu Xuan?"
"Since the general already ok Yukong's leave I'll do the paperwork with xikui"
"Thank you Fu Xuan"
With that syrene left fu Xuan. She was smiling brightly as everything went according to her plans now all she needed to do is grab Yukong and take her to penacony for her break.
