Yefrem didn’t know exactly what was drawing Petr to Hyperborea. Was it the same thing that drew adventurers to the Abyss? A need for answers, to catch a glimpse at what few others had seen before, to end their adventures with a journey that would take them to the end of all things?
Yefrem didn’t know, and he wasn’t sure he wanted to know. But he would be damned if he let his dearest friend face the dangers alone.
Because there was one thing he was certain of: Yefrem was not a coward.
