So Batman has been… exchanged. Kidnapped, swapped, captured, mind controlled maybe.
This changes his plans somewhat.

Jason, very sleep deprived and about to enact his revenge plot, convinces himself that Bruce has been pod personed. He then convinces Tim of that (well, he's a little more iffy but cooperates wholeheartedly) and their investigation leads them to crush the Countdown to Infinite Crisis before it could get bad, kidnaps Batman, who is also VERY sleep deprived, and Dick is so done with all of their bullshit.
