   Summary

   Thomas Bergaud Valentine is a stranger in a strange land. As in "Man who woke up in a fantasy setting with a handgun" kind of strange.
   Of course, this doesn't mean he'll be totally safe. Bows and magic exist, as well as the ever-present dread of trying to avert the impending apocalypse. But details, details. He has a gun. What more does a man need?
   Watch this idiot stumble around Ylisse with (mostly) the best intentions in an attempt to save the world. And gawk at real-life waifus. That too.
