Louis let himself be held, let himself press gentle kisses to Lestat’s face. How could he have tried to convince himself that he didn’t love this man? What on earth had he been thinking?"
This work isn't really intended to be a missing scene. It's more of an exploration of their sexual relationship. (Honestly, when do I NOT write about Louis and Lestat's sexual relationship.) In this fic, Louis bottoms for the first time ever. He'd never been on the receiving end of penetrative sex, and I hope I conveyed his feelings and needs pretty well in this fic.
I also wanted to explore a head-canon of my own that I have. I love Nicolas de Lenfent, don't get me wrong! But I'm a terrible creature, and I also love hurting my favorite fictional characters. The idea is this; what if Niki hated himself so much, he used sex with Lestat as a form of self harm? Lestat confides in Louis about this, and about other aspects of his past relationship with Niki. I hope you enjoy!
