Chapter Text
Eijirou Kirishima was never a normal person. Never had a normal childhood, never felt joy with friends or family, overall he never had a normal life. He always felt numb, unable to feel any sort of emotion. During elementary, he was the same. He always sat by himself, watching the other children play and laugh. They thought he was weird, a freak. The children would pick on him and bully him whenever they could, but he didn't feel anything. Just.. numbness.
The bullying concerned papa. So whenever Eijirou was around anyone, he would pretend. He'd pretend to fit in and act normal as to not worry his papa. His ma' told him that she was exactly like him as a child, and that one day, somebody special would enter his life. They would light up his world with warmth and colour, as she and his grandma had the same experience. But Eijirou couldn't wait that long!
Throughout his middle school years, he tried anything -- absolutely anything -- to feel something. He was desperate. One day while walking home from school, Eijirou saw a small white cat. It was cute, it had fluffy white fur and mismatched eyes. He crouched down and stroked the cat, but he didn't feel anything. He didn't feel joy, excitement, nothing. He was about to give up and head home, when he thought of an idea. Eijirou would do anything. He needed to feel something. Slowly, he picked up the cat and rose it above his head. Then, without hesitating, he threw it down onto the concrete pavement. As he analysed the patterns of the splattered blood, he didn't feel remorse. He didn't feel fear or sadness. He couldn't feel anything.
One day in his first year of highschool, UA's sports festival, The teacher and Pro Hero Midnight explained to the 1st years that they had to form teams for the cavalary battle. Eijirou began to study everyone else's quirks to figure out which would be of use to him. Eijirou looked over everyone, until his eyes caught onto Bakugou.
"Bakugou!! Let's team up!!" Eijirou practically yelled out on top of everyone's conversations. "Whaddya say, wanna play rider?!"
Those absolutely gorgeous and deep carmine eyes looked in Eijirou's way, and Eijirou's knees almost buckled. Eijirou felt an immediate splash of warmth in his chest, along with intense butterflies in his stomach. He felt his face heating up rapidly and sputtered for a bit. Was this.. love? Bakugou was perfect. His pale blonde, spikey hair was well kept and looked soft to the touch. His hands had rough callouses that EIjirou so deeply longed to trace and kiss. He looked incredibly handsome in the sports uniform, he stood out from everyone here. Fuck, he was just so perfect.
"..the fuck? Fuck's going on with you? Did you hear any of the shit I said, hair for brains?"
Bakugou -- No, Katsuki's deep and raspy voice immediately brought him back to reality. Eijirou nodded quickly, before Katsuki turned away which gave him a chance to think.
Did he just.. feel something? Oh god. This was the special somebody his ma' was talking about. He felt himself smile giddily to himself -- genuinely, this time -- before anger washed away his happiness. He saw Katsuki eyeing Midoriya, where the green haired boy also took notice and blushed before turning away to the brown haired girl.
No. No, no, no, no, no! Katsuki, Eijirou's Katsuki had an admirer, who just so happened to be Midoriya. He can't let this happen, he wont. He wont let anyone take Katsuki away from him. Katsuki is supposed to be his, he belongs to him. Not Midoriya, or anyone else. He'll do anything to keep that from happening. Anything.
