Summary
This series of artworks made by the infamous Doctor Hannibal Lecter, better known as the Chesapeake Ripper, Copy Cat Killer, Il Monstoro, or simply Hannibal the Cannibal, were created during his time in the Baltimore Hospital for the Criminally Insane. These soft graphite and charcoal sketches were each created from memory, and give a long awaited look into the mind of such a twisted killer. Each have been identified as replicas of famous baroque artworks, further evidence of his duplicitous nature, and often feature known associates in the place of biblical and mythological figures.
