Summary
The hardest thing about loving someone as much as he did is you can never quite love them enough. Harry loved Louis more than anything in the world. Watched the days weigh on him and the illness take over the light in his lover’s eyes. Kissed every dimple, traced the shapes on his freckled cheeks, memorized every line of Louis with the desperation of a starving man. Everything that was Louis imprinted in his mind.
But it wasn’t enough to save him. Because you can’t save someone just by loving them. God knows Harry tried.
